STAFF SUBSTITUTES:
General plan (no need to rush through):
Welcome everybody. Introduce yourself (you can say that I'm out sick but don't give details).
Stretch to start (I usually do a "reach for the sky"; "dig in the ground"; "hug the whole world"-arms straight out; "shake it off"-wiggle arms and legs.
First set: Head and Shoulders plus 3 "UP SONGS."
Second set: 3 or 4 "SEATED" songs (I sit on a chair, usually at the corner near my desk, but you can sit on the floor if you like)
THIRD SET: another 3 or 4 "SEATED" songs
FOURTH SET: "Toddler Time Band Practice" (with bucket of instruments) and "BAND" songs or whatever you like.
FIFTH SET: Three more "UP SONGS" finishing up with "The Ants Go Marching One by One" (up to four) with a parade around the room.
Or, just have fun doing whatever!
THANKS!
Kathy

That she's your tootsie wootsie
In the good old summer time.
